Having received positive feedback on the Radio 1 Myspace profile, the BBC asked Inside Media to produce an equally stunning example for the sister radio station, BBC Radio 1Xtra.

1Xtra plays the best in new black music, and so the design follows an urban/graffiti theme, with references to sound system equipment forming a key element of the design.

Again, we were asked to produce a microsite for 1Xtra badges, and also to design the actual badges.

The BBC approached Inside Media to 'pimp their profile' for Radio 1 on Myspace, the wolrd's largest social networking site, and so we duly obliged. The design incorporates a flash animated banner featuring the new Radio 1 logo and concentric pulses.

We also built a separate microsite mirroring this design to provide the code needed to include a Radio 1 'badge' on your own Myspace profile, blog, etc.
